Natalie Goldstein is a remarkable photographer. Having spent years in front of the camera as a model, Natalie developed her own unique understanding of the profession, both technically and artistically. Natalie’s eye is drawn to the aesthetics of the human form, beyond merely the body beautiful. Her subjects are poised and positioned to suggest Da Vinci’s divine proportions of humanity. They are athletic. They are graceful. They speak of refined elegance.
Natalie’s work has been compared to Helmut Newton, as both artists portray the female form as monumentally powerful. She also draws influence from Richard Avedon, whose portraits cross over from fashion photography into a fine art examination of character and personality, very much like Herb Ritts who was another inspiration in terms of composition and style. Natalie grew up surrounded by fashion as a culture, she immersed herself with magazines and books on Versace and the like. Natalie recognised that in order to create impactful photography, she had to take it out of the bounds of traditional fashion editorial work and create iconic images that transcend place or time.
Natalie's work is suggestive and at times provocative. She has the technical know-how to create incredible moving lenticular pieces, undertakes private commissions and has fashioned an artistic form of expression that is energetic, exquisitely constructed and for the viewer captivatingly stunning.
Simon grew up in London and then later studied in the USA where he stayed and worked after college with several known songwriters as a session singer. He then went on to work with several investment management companies who dealt with music and media clients.
He then set up his own media investment management company Pier, which he ran successfully for over 20 years, before selling it in 2016. He has several other business interests including a music publishing and production company Love Ya Work, working with new songwriters and artists, and he is an original shareholder of 808 Whisky, owned by several other music industry people including Pete Tong and Tommy D. Since selling Pier, Simon has wanted to devote more time to more charity causes and with United in Love he wants to support more of the charities working with the global refugee crisis.
